What is uPVC Sash Window?

Traditionally wooden sliding sash windows have been changed for double glazed units using 50/50 split windows that half open at the top or the bottom or both. This was used as a cost effective way of replacing the old draughty and cold sash windows. Very rarely was the outer box ever insulated meaning that the boxing where the weights are housed being left open leaves a void and is therefore a cold spot in your house.

uPVC Sliding Sash Windows have become far more available due to growing demand in recent years. This has meant that we have managed to negotiate a very good price at which we purchase and supply these types of windows.

We have for many years been fitting windows whilst being sympathetic to traditional building styles and older properties. This, coupled with many years of experience of fitting this style of window, we have developed our own innovative, better insulated and sympathetic method to fit to both existing and previously replaced installations of this type.
