Earlier this year, Emerald Windows and Doors installed new uPVC casement windows and a composite front door for Mrs Johnson at her Swindon home. ‘Fantastic experience from start to finish. I know I wasn’t the easiest customer when ordering (I kept changing my mind), but Marc was fantastic and couldn’t have been more helpful. But special thanks needs to go to the installation team, Dion and Alex. Dion is honestly amazing. The pride in his work and the fine attention to detail he gives is outstanding. Nothing was too much trouble, and even when faced with challenges, he faced them with positivity and without skipping any corners. I should quickly add it’s been a few weeks since our install now and everything is perfect. The quality of the windows and doors is great and looks stunning. And the difference in the outside noise heard inside is seriously amazing. In that you can’t hear a thing!

Some months later, Mrs Johnson contacted us to report on the significant impact the new windows were having on her home:
‘They’ve made such a difference and never has it been more obvious than last night when it was rather cold. Previously, we would have really felt it, but the new windows have completely blocked it all out and kept the warmth in. Anyway, the reason I’m telling you all this is because I thought you might be interested that last year, in an attempt to see where the cold spots in our house were, we took some thermal images. And last night we decided to take some comparison thermal images. The differences are staggering and so thought you might be interested to see….
As you can see on the left picture, our old windows had some really bad cold spots. Not anymore!
